一、學生情況分析:

通過一學期的教學,大多數(shù)學生英語學習有進步,英語字寫得漂亮了,學習態(tài)度有所好轉(zhuǎn),上學期通過采用邊學習新知識和復習舊知識相結(jié)合的方法,他們的學習有所進步。但是因為教材銜接有問題,學生學習這套教材有一定難度。

這學期他們將步入六年級的第二學期,學生的學習負擔會越來越重,他們將面臨著畢業(yè)和升中學考試的壓力,會把更多的精力放在語文和數(shù)學上,因為考中學不考英語,所以家長和學生會更加不重視英語,大多數(shù)會放棄英語,干脆不學了。

二、針對情況采取的措施:

針對學生的具體情況,我將采取以下措施:

1、注重情景教學,創(chuàng)設英語環(huán)境,營造學習氣氛,使學生有更多的機會接觸英語,感觸英語,應用英語。

2、結(jié)合學生的年齡特點,結(jié)合教學內(nèi)容,設計適合六年級學生的課堂教學活動,調(diào)動學生的學習積極性。

3、針對學生記,背單詞難這一問題,向?qū)W生介紹優(yōu)秀學生的學習方法,大家互相交流,共同進步。老師向?qū)W生介紹一些好方法,如:分類記憶法,滾學球記憶法,想象記憶法等。

4、對學生進行語音知識訓練,教授國際音標,讓學生從簡單機械地模仿式學習,過渡到有正確的語音知識知指導英語學習的階段,也為自學鋪路。

5、加強閱讀訓練和語法知識的滲透學習。

本學期六年級普通班英語課所使用教材是:河北教育出版社的《learning english》第八冊,本套教材充分吸收了世界上最先進的外語教學理論和實踐經(jīng)驗,注重學生英語聽說讀寫能力的培養(yǎng)和訓練,努力為學習者營造語境,精心設計內(nèi)容,在教學中安排了大量的有趣的教學活動,引導學生在輕松,積極向上的氣氛中學習英語,使英語變的既容易又有趣。它以學生為中心,以主要人物的活動為主線,圍繞最常用的,最基本的英語詞匯、句型、交際會話等,逐步開展教學內(nèi)容,符合小學生的年齡、心理特點和語言教學規(guī)律,具有很強的科學性。

二、學生情況分析

五年級的學生已經(jīng)接觸了兩年英語,有一定的英語基礎。兒童的特性使得他們活潑好動,對新事物有著強烈的好奇心,探索知識的欲望很強烈,并且有著很強的表現(xiàn)欲。教師應采用新穎活潑有趣的教學形式進行教學,保持并提高學生學習英語的興趣。

三、教學目標

四、教材分析

本教材難易度合理,過渡平和,主要采用的是全身反應(total physical response)教學法,讓學生在不同的學習活動中感知并運用英語。本教材按照每單元三課時編排,每單元包含九個部分:第一部分是全單元的的主要句型、單詞等語言材料及其功能的集中展示;第二部分是主要句型和單詞的重點板塊;第三和第四部分是鞏固知識的活動板塊;第五部分是閱讀,是對前面的拓展;第六部分是學生間合作活動,大多是兩人組活動,以便學生應用語言;第七部分是讀寫部分;第八部分是拼讀部分;第九部分是娛樂部分。教材的設計體現(xiàn)了“以人為本”的教育思想,形式多樣活潑,很符合該年齡階段的兒童。

五,教學方法建議

(1)詞匯教學(let’s learn)

let’s learn部分的詞匯是圍繞話題歸類出現(xiàn)的。與前四冊不同的是,從五年級上冊開始,let’s learn中的部分或全部詞匯要求學生做到聽說讀寫四

掌握。還可以在與學生的交流中自然引入新單詞,讓學生在理解詞義的基礎上朗讀、拼讀新詞。 在交際中教學單詞。教師應力求在語言交流中教單詞,用舊詞聯(lián)系新的語言,融會語言和詞匯的教學。不要為了教單詞而教單詞,也不要讓學生死記,要把它放到具體的對話(句子)中學習。

(2).對話教學(let’s talk pair work group work)本冊教材濃縮了原有的情景會話,更突出了目標句型。為給學生提供靈活運用語言的機會,這部分還提供可替換的內(nèi)容。為此,教師應做相應的調(diào)整。

(3)、閱讀理解教學(read and write )

這部分的教學目標是:讀懂對話或短文;完成檢測學生理解程度的填充句子練習;聽說讀寫四會掌握一組句子;完成一項綜合運用語言的任務型語言活動。

(4)、語音訓練(pronunciation)

一個學期以來,我在自己的工作崗位上盡職盡責,兢兢業(yè)業(yè),為人師表。本學期我擔任五年級的英語教學工作,在教學中我嚴格遵從教學的五個環(huán)節(jié),課前認真?zhèn)湔n,做到既備教材,又備學生,因材施教,努力實施課堂改革,積極探索小學英語快樂課堂,小學階段英語教學的目的是:激發(fā)學生學習英語的興趣,培養(yǎng)學生學習英語的積極性,使他們樹立學習英語的自信心,同時培養(yǎng)學生一定的語感和良好的語音、語調(diào)基礎,為進一步學習打下基礎。在英語課堂教學中,怎樣創(chuàng)設良好的學習氛圍、激發(fā)學生的興趣是搞好小學英語教學的重要一環(huán)。下面結(jié)合本學期教學實踐總結(jié)一下教學情況: 一、給學生營造英語學習的氛圍

本學期自開學以來,我在課堂內(nèi)外都盡量用簡單的英語來組織教學和與學生交流。無論是上課時師生相互打招呼問候、道別,或者教師發(fā)指令讓學生做動作等,我都盡量采用英語來進行。即使是課后我也盡量讓學生用英語簡單交流,如進入教室或辦公室時,如果我在就一定要用英語:may i come in?

到目前為止,已有多數(shù)學生已經(jīng)接受簡單語句的說法,并逐步學會了其說法。這樣做有助于創(chuàng)造英語氣氛,學生的學習積極性會更高,可以幫助學生通過英語直接理解教學內(nèi)容的意思,養(yǎng)成用英語思維的習慣。當然必要時也可適當?shù)睦媚刚Z。例如用英語難以理解的,較抽象的詞句就可以用英語解釋,以節(jié)省教學時間。對于特殊的英語表達方式,也可作英語與母語對比,以加深理解,便于記憶。例如good morning/afternoon/evening等的漢譯是“早上/下午/晚上好!”但是英語里必需是good 在前的順序。 二、關(guān)注教學過程

?英語課程標準解讀》指出:“小學階段英語教學的重點要放在聽、說、讀、寫的訓練上,要放在引導學生養(yǎng)成良好的讀音,正確地聽、說、讀、寫習慣和運用英語的習慣上,要放在養(yǎng)成良好的接受英語和學習的習慣上,要放在養(yǎng)成良好接受英語和學習英語的方法上,”針對課程標準提出的要求,我在教授單詞時,采用了一下的一些辦法:

1.讓學生仔細聽單詞的讀音。放錄音給他們聽,使學生從聽覺上正確地感受某個單詞的讀音。

2.讓學生看所學單詞所代表的事物之形狀。因為小學英語中,大部分單詞是表示具體的事物,抽象的甚少。這樣就可以通過實物、卡片或了了幾筆的 簡筆畫,把要學的單詞展示在學生面前,使學生有一種直觀感受。如學習用品、交通工具、動物等單詞,可以用實物或玩具進行直觀教學。象sun,moon,star等單詞,我就用簡筆畫幫助教學,既生動,又形象。

3.讓學生拼讀單詞。我把所學單詞書寫在黑板上或卡片上,讓學生拼讀, 掌握單詞是由哪些字母組合而 成的。

4.讓學生想其讀音和構(gòu)成。通過以上三個步驟的訓練,所學單詞的讀音和構(gòu)成已基本上在學生大腦中形成。這時要求學生想一想所學單詞讀音和字母組合,主要是加深印象,讓學生記牢。

5.讓學生說出和寫出單詞, 目的是檢驗學生的掌握情況。我可拿出實物或卡片,要求學生正確拼讀出來,并能在三線本上寫出 來。如教師拿出蘋果,學生觀其形,就拼寫出a-p-p-l-e。

當然,我在真正的教學過程中不會單獨教授單詞,我會把單詞貫穿到句子中。并把句子放在一定的語境中來進行教學。這樣可做到詞不離句,句不離篇。對于小學生來說,他們的注意力很難長時間的集中。而且單調(diào)的教學也容易讓學生產(chǎn)生疲勞感,會使學生感到厭煩,課堂教學氣氛沉悶,不利于提高學生學習的積極性。這就需要借助于游戲,把游戲貫穿于教學中,寓教于樂。學習英語一個重要的目的是運用英語進行交際,兩人之間的交際是活動的重要形式,因此,語言訓練中應經(jīng)常開展兩人活動。兩人之間的對話活動是最常見的兩人活動。可以要求學生就某一話題、某一張圖片、某一個人等進行一問一答形式的對話,也可要求學生開展一個發(fā)指令,另一個做的活動,還可以開展兩人之間的討論、辯論、商量等活動。在五年級,我可以開展筆頭訓練的兩人一組的活動,如以有趣的兩人游戲形式開展聽寫、相互改錯、連詞成句、句型轉(zhuǎn)換等。兩人活動很容易在課桌上開展,不需要學生離開課堂,有時為了活躍課堂氣氛,或者提供更多與不同人進行訓練的機會,可以讓前排的學生轉(zhuǎn)身和后排的學生進行兩人活動。 三、重視評價,有效運用評價

評價可以使學生認識自我,樹立自信,有助于反思及調(diào)整自己的學習過程,評價或采用測驗及非測驗形式,平時重視形成性評價,對學生回答學習過程中的表現(xiàn)所改進的誠績,及反映的情感、態(tài)度、策略某方面進行及時的評價,如有口頭評價、等級評價、學生之間互相評價等方法,充分發(fā)覺學生的進步,鼓勵學生自我反思,自我提高,測驗以學生綜合運用能力為目標,側(cè)重于學生理解和獲取信息,能力減少客觀題,增加主觀題,通過評價學生學會分析自己的成績和不足,明確努力方向。

當學生回答問題時,我常常進行正面的評價,這是幫助初學者掌握英語學習的良好方法。我在課堂上大膽使用鼓勵,可以鼓勵全班,也可鼓勵某一小組或某一學生。學生在開展個人活動、小組活動時,可以到學生中間去,鼓勵和幫助某一個學生、某兩個學生、或某一組學生,這種做法是比較好的。 對學生的書面作業(yè),我也經(jīng)常給予正面的評價,不僅可以寫上“good ! very good!”等,還可以貼上一張表示鼓勵的小粘貼畫。對于學生書面作業(yè)中的錯誤給予糾正,讓學生感到我在意他們的書面作業(yè)。
